Nissan 370Z and Vauxhall Tigra
The Nissan 370Z and Vauxhall Tigra are two cars that are very different in some ways and quite similar in others. A choice to buy a smaller luxury car often comes down to a choice between these two cars, therefore it is extremely important to have all the knowledge you can about what the style of each one offers, as well as the safety and performance features that apply to each one.
Style
The Nissan 370Z is manufactured by Nissan Motors and is classed as a sports car. It was unveiled in 2008 and is known in Japan as Fairlady Z. As a part of the Nissan Z-car line the Nissan 370Z is the sixth generation and is still in production. This sleek looking car comes in a 2 door coupe and 2 door roadster style depending on your preference.
The Vauxhall Tigra is also and more commonly known as the Opel Tigra, as well as the Holden Tigra and Chevrolet Tigra. It is considered to be a small coupe and has been manufactured since 1994 through two generations, ending in 2009. The first generation offered as a small coupe from 1994 to 2000, and then as a roadster starting 2004, which boasted a hard-top convertible option.
Both the Nissan 370Z and the Vauxhall Tigra are extremely popular for their sleek, sporty look and maneuverability on the road, making the choice a question more of personal preference than anything.
Safety and Performance
The Nissan 370Z has only one engine style and are the most closely related to the Infiniti G and Nissan Skylines. They offer safety features that include anti-lock brakes and 5 airbags (front, passenger and driver side, and overhead). Other features that are vital to the safety of everyone when a Nissan 370Z is on the road are side impact bars, security system, ignition disable, and panic alarm.
With the used Vauxhall Tigra, two different gas engines are offered as well as one diesel, giving you more options than with the Nissan. Anti-lock brakes, front and both side airbags, and great deadlocking systems to avoid theft and breakins are all safety features offered by the Vauxhall Tigra. Alarm system/panic alarm and ignition disable are also prized safety features.
